John Wood
John is founder, director and chairman of a number of think tanks, technology
orientated businesses and political organisations. Following his studies at Oxford
University, Trinity College, Dublin, University of Southern California, and the
London School of Economics he became active in business, policy and politics.
He is chairman of Trilateral Group Ltd, a holding company for a group of thoughtware
companies. He is chairman of the Washington, London and Moscow based Institute
for Applied Science, director of Santa Fe Science and Technology Inc, and director
of Oxford Analytica Ltd the Oxford based think tank, of SQW Group Ltd economic
development consultants, and of MEC Ltd, a Middle East focussed business development
and research firm. He is chairman of Wood Brigdale Nisbet & Robinson Ltd,
an international communications strategy company. He is also chairman emeritus
of Republicans Abroad, the global arm of the Republican Party and he is special
advisor on International Security and Arms Control to the US Department of State.
